In eZ Publish, we can call back the standard PHP function, which takesonly one parameter as input. It is sufficient to create an override ofthe template.ini setting file in the settings folder of our extension,call template.ini.append.php file, and then insert the following code:

PHPOperatorList[striptags]=strip_tags
*/ ?>

The PHPOperatorList array key is the operator name, whereas the value is the name
of the PHP function.
